WOW: Switching Professions; Another bank tab purchase

I wasn’t planning on purchasing another guild bank tab until next week but… I reached the gold I wanted to make before I did that so I purchased my third tab.
This third tab is looking barren, right? I’m still in the process of adding items to the bank. My level 59 Death Knight dropped Mining yesterday and picked up Inscription. My DK was doing well selling the ore she had mined. I also made money purchasing low-priced ore and reselling it at higher prices. I’ll keep doing that.
I’ve bought numerous low priced herbs yesterday and snagged a few more today and need to add them to the bank. The process took about 10 minutes each time. Additionally, I need to start making glyphs. Yesterday, I’ve set a few glyphs up for sale and I’m starting to see some money rolling in. My Inscription skill is 100 and I’ve already made 70 gold. Who knows, I might make more. I haven’t put them all up on the Auction House. My investment was ten gold. It’s nothing to get excited about yet. I’ll just have to wait and see how my Inscription does on this server.
How much does a bank tab cost?
Tab 1: 100 Gold
Tab 2: 250 Gold
Tab 3: 500 Gold
Tab 4: 1000 Gold
Tab 5: 2500 Gold
Tab 6: 5000 Gold
Each bank tab has 98 slots. If you bought all the bank tabs (which I will eventually do) that is 588 bank slots. That’s a lot of storage. The majority of my toons has 20 slot bags. I could create another guild and save some of the cost of purchasing all those tabs but… I don’t want to do that. I like having everything in one place. Also by the time I purchase all the last remaining bank tabs WOW gold really won’t be an issue, now will it?
My Death Knight is the guild leader of my alts guild. When I create a guild bank, I make sure the leader is at least level ten. That way if something happens hopeful Blizzard will be able to keep track of my purchases. It seems that Blizzard doesn’t keep track of alts below level ten, try to armory one of your below level ten bank alts to see what happens.
When it comes to playing the Auction House I made a lot of guesses within involving my WOW gold. The majority of the hunches/gambles I’ve made in-game have paid off well but there have been a few that have cost me a few thousand WOW gold, but to me it doesn’t matter. The gold can be made back easily and its in game gold, no real world money was lost.
So, why the change to Inscription? Yes, I know my DK is late to the Inscription game but I still believe I can make money with this profession. I want to see how my Death Knight does with Inscription on the Kael’thas server. On the Zul’Jin server one of my toons is an Inscriptionist. Deimonia, my Affliction Warlock, is a Miner. I don’t plan on giving Mining up on her anytime soon.
As I’ve mentioned before fun for me doesn’t start at 80. I’m really in no rush to get there, been there, done that and although it is fun being 80 I have had the same amount of fun leveling, which is why main on Kael’thas (Deimonia) is still 77.
